Scared to death and out of breath
Last phone booth in the USA
Turning dollars into dimes
To buy you just another day
Roundabout, I’m calling out
To somewhere in my past
Fumbling for my lines
The actor tragically miscast
Show me all your good times.
Show me all your bad.
I'll show you every in between
That you've ever had
Lead me to your doorstep
Let me come inside
Let me buy the ticket
And I'll take you for the ride.
Breaking down but don't hang up
You will escape the darkness
Fall down flat, but don't look back
You know time, it marches
I hear your voice inside my heart
And I know you're haunted
It’s inexact; the final act
But you get what you wanted
Show me all your good times.
Show me all your bad.
I'll show you every in between
That you've ever had
Lead me to your doorstep
Let me come inside
Let me buy the ticket
And I'll take you for the ride.
I see the image in your mind
Leave it behind. Just let it go.
You'll find the reason in the rhyme
All in good time. On with the show
Show me all your good times.
Show me all your bad.
I'll show you every in between
That you've ever had
Lead me to your doorstep
Let me come inside
Let me buy the ticket
And I'll take you for the ride.

Sometimes I'll be listening to music and a little disappointed. "Is this it? Is this all music can offer?" This really broke that for me, and reminded me of why I love music. Thark Type Beat

The album takes off nicely with David Longdon's "The Strangest Times", but then gets into immediate free fall and deeply underwater for the next few tracks, quite unexpectedly. Fortunately, it recovers with Nick D'Virgilio's "Apollo" (hey, this guy CAN write good music, although he hides this ability most of the time) and the remaining three tracks, one of which is another Longdon masterpiece. So in the end the final impression is somewhat in the positive range. Sven B. Schreiber (sbs)
